Rossa Ban Her Son for Having Any Social Media Accounts

Singer and songwriter Rossa has forbidden her 10-year-old son, Rizky Langit Ramadhan, from having any social media accounts.

“So that he can better focus on his schoolwork. It’s normal because back in the old days, I didn’t have any social media accounts, which made me more focused,” said the 38-year-old singer at an event to launch her new album, A New Chapter, at KFC Kemang in South Jakarta.

On the other hand, Rossa guards her son’s privacy and rarely speaks publicly about him.

Rossa said Rizky is home schooled. This method was chosen so that she could be more flexible in managing time to spend with her son.

“Every Tuesday or Thursday, I teach Rizky until noon. After that, a tutor comes to teach him. While on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, he attends school,” she said.

Although Rossa is keep busy by her career, she said she found no problems in raising her son.

“He’s understanding and knows his mother is a hard worker.”
