Singer Glenn Fredly is preparing a new religious album that will send messages of peace.
Titled 'Hidayah Carita Orang Barsaudara' (Guidance for Stories of Brothers and Sisters), the album is based on a book that tells a story of 26 figures from different professions — from journalists to priests and clerics — during a religious conflict in Maluku.
“This album possesses depth in the message. We want to show the world how lives were for Muslims and Christians in Maluku in 1999,” he told kompas.com.
The album, which will be released in 260 countries, will be produced in Maluku.
Glenn said the recording would start on April 18.
So far, there are six tracks and six narrations ready, he added.
Glenn will produce the music with recording company Musik Bagus
